Organising Your Work

Task 1

Before you start any work in ICT you need somewhere to save it.  Your Teacher will show you how to copy the folder structure below into your own area.

Folder structure  Functional Skills exercise(2.1i,2.1ii,2.2i,3.1i,3.1ii,3.2i)

Task 2

Inside your folder structure create a folder called Skills.  Your Teacher will show you how to do this.  In here you will save all your work for this unit.

1) Create a classroom rules poster.  Ensure you use the skills you have just developed in this unit of work.  You must ensure you:-

Typing Tutor

Most year 7 pupils find it hard to type quickly.  Below is a website which will help you improve your typing speed.  When you have completed the lessons below you will be awarded a certificate.  Print out the certificate and show your teacher.  They will then record your progress in their mark book.
