Assessor Checklist-For Teacher Use

Task 1-Review Existing Animations.

You need to give a thorough explanation of  the good and not so good features of at least 2 animations and suggest a range of valid improvements to help the animation achieve its aims.  To do this find to websites which contain animations and annotate them as in the example below.

Task 2-Design an Animation

You need to give a thorough explanation of the aim and audience of your animation like the one below.  In your explanation you must discuss whether you will use Key frames, Tweening or Interpolation

Task 3-Create a story board which is well structured

You need to plan your storyboard on paper.  Below is a template to help you to do this.

Task 4-Create an Animation

You need to create an animation.  The animation must:-

Use Paint and Adobe image ready to do this.  You need to show what techniques you have used.  Take screenshots of your work and annotate them like the ones below.

Task 5-Optimising and exporting in a suitable format

Your animation now must be optimised then exported in a suitable Format.  Take Screenshots like those below showing how to optimise your animation.

Task 6-Adding Titles, sounds, Transitions and effects

Use Revelation Sight and Sound to add titles/credits, transitions, f x, music, sounds etc.

Print screen and annotate your works showing how you did this.  Also show evidence that your animation is over 30 seconds in length.

Export your work as an MP4. Show the exported file in your own area.


Task 7-Testing

You need to test your animation to ensure it works.  Your animation must be tested using a table consisting of at least 6 tests.  Areas for improvement must be highlighted and most areas acted on.

Create a testing table like the one below.  Use it to test your animation, then action any areas which need improving.  Use the example below to help you.
