Listen to the radio adverts 2 and 26 then complete the guidance question sheets for each advert.

Task 2

Create a storyboard in revelation sight and sound for one of the film clips.  In the notes explain what is happening and any possible sounds and special effects you would add.

The Storyboard must show:-

1) The Content of the clip

2) Have a timeline

3) Include titles and credits

4) Include sounds/narration

5) Include transitions and special effects.

Task 3

In word describe the aim of the clip

Distinction only-When describing the aim and audience of the sound clip at least one side of A4 font size 12 – 14 is used and a thorough description is given of the sound, video and special effects.  Say why you have included them and why they are suitable for your audience.  You must say what software you will use to create your clip.


Task 4

Add Sounds, Effects, Transitions, Titles and Credits to the chosen video clip in revelation sight and sound.  Print Screen your work into Word and annotate explaining what you did.

Task 5

Test your Audio Clip and suggest possible improvements.  You must undertake at least six tests.  For distinction try to ensure you have 6-10 tests and suggest improvements for 3 or 4 items.

• whether correct message conveyed

• runs for the correct length of time

• suitable effects

• suitable file format


Task 6

Make the suggested improvements to your video clip.  Print screen your finished work into Work and annotate explaining the changes you have made.

You must take screenshots showing your work before and after the changes.

Export in a suitable File format.  You must take a screenshot of your video saved as an Mp3 or Mp4 in your own work area.

Evaluate your clip.  Explain how your clip makes good use of effects and sounds.  Explain how it meets your aims.
